Senior Enterprise Application Developer

Senior Mendix DeveloperWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mendix Developer with a strong background in developing enterprise applications using the Mendix low-code platform. The ideal candidate will also have experience with Siemens Opcenter (Discrete and/or Process) to help build integrated, scalable, and efficient manufacturing solutions.Key Responsibilities:Design, Develop and Maintain Applications: Use the Mendix low-code platform to design, develop, and maintain applications that meet business requirements.Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and UX/UI designers to gather requirements and deliver business-centric solutions.Integrate Applications: Integrate Mendix applications with Siemens Opcenter (Discrete/Process) and other enterprise systems.Develop Interfaces: Develop and maintain interfaces using REST, SOAP, OData APIs, and database connections.Implement Best Practices: Implement best practices for architecture, security, and performance optimization.Mentor Junior Developers: Provide mentorship and code reviews to junior developers and support overall team development.Ensure Documentation: Ensure documentation, version control, and application lifecycle management processes are followed.Stay Up-to-Date: Stay up to date with Mendix platform updates and relevant technologies including MES/Opcenter.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering: Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.8+ Years of Experience: Have 8+ years of experience in software/application development.Mendix Experience: Have 5+ years of hands-on experience with Mendix, including advanced features.Mendix Certification: Hold a Mendix Advanced Developer Certification (Expert level is a plus).Siemens Opcenter Experience: Have practical experience or working knowledge of Siemens Opcenter Execution (Discrete or Process).Manufacturing Execution Systems Knowledge: Have a strong understanding of manufacturing execution systems (MES) and integration workflows.APIs and Data Modeling Knowledge: Familiarity with APIs, data modeling, and integration best practices.Application Architecture Knowledge: Good knowledge of application architecture and enterprise solution design.Agile Methodologies and DevOps Knowledge: Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices (CI/CD).Communication and Team Collaboration Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.Preferred Qualifications:Cloud Platforms Experience: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or SAP Cloud.: Exposure to manufacturing industry use cases and plant operations.: Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, and web technologies (HTML/CSS).: Knowledge of security standards, performance tuning, and compliance in enterprise environments.: Experience leading Mendix or MES-focused projects.Soft Skills:: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.: Excellent communication and presentation skills.: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.: Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities.,
