About the Role:

We are seeking a talented ServiceNow Lead/Architect with expertise in implementation, integration, and discovery. In this role, you will design and deliver ServiceNow solutions that enable seamless business processes, efficient integrations, and accurate system discovery for effective platform utilization.

Key Responsibilities:

Implementation & Design:

  • Lead end-to-end ServiceNow implementations for ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and other modules based on business needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements and design scalable, future-ready solutions.
  • Develop and customize workflows, forms, and reports to support business processes.

Integration Management:

  • Architect and implement robust integrations with external systems and applications using APIs (REST, SOAP).
  • Design solutions to facilitate data exchange between ServiceNow and tools like monitoring systems, IT asset management platforms, or HR systems.
  • Ensure seamless integration while maintaining data security and compliance.

Discovery & CMDB Management:

  • Oversee the configuration and deployment of ServiceNow Discovery to maintain an accurate and up-to-date CMDB.
  • Identify and resolve gaps in the CMDB to support IT operations and service mapping.
  • Define best practices for discovery scheduling, MID server deployment, and error handling.

Platform Strategy:

  • Establish architectural standards and guidelines for ServiceNow implementations and integrations.
  • Conduct platform health checks and provide recommendations for optimization.
  • Define governance frameworks to ensure consistent use of the platform.

Technical Leadership:

  • Mentor and guide ServiceNow developers and administrators in adhering to best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, ensuring platform stability and performance.
  • Stay updated on new ServiceNow features and assess their applicability to organizational needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience:
  • 7+ years of ServiceNow experience with a focus on implementation, integration, and discovery.
  • Proven track record of leading multiple ServiceNow deployments and integration projects.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, and ITOM modules.
  • Proficiency in developing and managing integrations using REST, SOAP, and other middleware.
  • Strong scripting skills (JavaScript, Glide, or similar).
  • Familiarity with networking, infrastructure, and cloud platforms for accurate discovery and integration.
  • Certifications:
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) [Required].
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – ITSM/ITOM/Discovery [Highly Preferred].
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ITIL processes and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
