Business Development Role OverviewThe Business Development Analyst will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential clients across diagnostics, pharma, biotech, and life sciences.Develop and execute targeted outreach campaigns through email, phone, and conference networking to generate qualified leads for informatics services.Identify and profile potential clients across diagnostics, pharma, biotech, and life science technology sectors.Research target accounts to map key decision-makers, ongoing programs, and partnership opportunities in bioinformatics, multi-omics, data curation, and clinical genomics.Key Responsibilities:Maintain and update prospect databases with accurate lead details, contact intelligence, and engagement history.Track and analyze engagement metrics, follow-ups, and conversion rates to ensure healthy pipeline progression.Support pre- and post-event outreach for major conferences — identifying key attendees, scheduling meetings, and maintaining follow-up logs.Requirements & Skills:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or related field.1-2 years of experience in business development, market research, or client management (life sciences or technology domain preferred).Desirable Qualities:Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Zoho/ CRM, or equivalent tools.High attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
