Job Opportunity:The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing data connectors, with experience in software engineering in languages such as Java, Rust, and Go. They should also possess knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, metadata, catalog, and lineage.Develop custom connectors from scratch, demonstrating the ability to build integrators without just configuring ETL pipelines and scripts.Apply robust software engineering fundamentals by writing production-quality code in a popular language, preferably Python.Demonstrate expertise in API integration, including REST/GraphQL clients with retry logic, rate limiting, pagination, and connection pooling.Have hands-on experience with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Snowflake), NoSQL databases, and/or Business Intelligence tools.Understand metadata & lineage, extracting schemas and comprehending table/column-level lineage from SQL, APIs, or system catalogs.Technical Requirements:Performance optimizationTesting rigorScalability awarenessSoftware design patternsProblem-Solving & QualitySystematic debuggingSecurity-consciousAutonomous systems thinkingLLM-assisted development with critical thinkingKey Qualifications:Our company is looking for a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team.
