Job Title:US Property Accountant - Accounting ExpertiseWe are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled US Property Accountant to join our dynamic and collaborative team.The ideal candidate will be an experienced accounting professional with a strong background in financial reporting, particularly in managing accounting processes and ensuring financial accuracy for U.S.-based clients. You should possess a solid understanding of GAAP standards and have hands-on experience with lease accounting, CAM reconciliation, and other relevant accounting practices.Note: Experience on both Sage Intacct and Yardi is required.Key Responsibilities:Serve as a key member of a small advisory group, providing expert guidance and accounting solutions.Collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.Foster strong client relationships, particularly focusing on clients utilizing Sage Intacct and Yardi for their accounting processes.Accounting & Bookkeeping Tasks:Manage recurring bookkeeping tasks for multiple clients, ensuring consistent and accurate financial reporting.Perform monthly and quarter-end close processes, ensuring all transactions are recorded and reconciled properly.Prepare quarterly financial statements within a 60-day window from the end of the quarter, adhering to GAAP standards.Reconcile accounts on a monthly basis, ensuring that all financial data is accurate and balanced.Required Skills & Qualifications:Minimum of 3+ years of experience in accounting, with a strong background in financial reporting.Proven experience working with U.S.-based clients, with a deep understanding of GAAP standards and its application to accounting processes.In-depth understanding of accounting principles, including lease accounting (ASC 842), CAM reconciliation, and other GAAP standards.Strong ability to manage multiple clients and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Excellent attention to detail with the ability to ensure data accuracy in all tasks.
