As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge AI solutions that drive meaningful change in the industry.Key Responsibilities:Design and Develop AI Systems: Utilize your expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to create systems that ingest NHS data sources, generate accurate responses, and power chatbots and voice agents.Craft Prompts and Dialogue Flows: Collaborate with our team to craft and optimize prompts and design voice-agent dialogue flows that maximize response relevance, reduce latency, and ensure clinical safety across text and voice channels.Integrate AI Components: Work closely with frontend and backend teams to integrate AI and voice agent components into our microservices architecture.Analyze and Improve Performance: Instrument AI and voice-agent pipelines, analyze logs and user feedback, troubleshoot edge cases, and implement continuous-learning improvements.Required Skills and Qualifications:Prompt Engineering and LLMs: Proven experience with prompt engineering, LLMs, RAG frameworks, and voice-agent/dialogue-system design.Programming Skills: Advanced proficiency in Python, comfortable building APIs in NestJS, and familiarity with Next.js/React for frontend integration.Azure Services and Databases: Strong understanding of Azure services, containerisation, and relational databases.Distributed Architecture and APIs: Experience designing microservices, distributed architectures, and RESTful/GraphQL APIs.Domain Knowledge: Domain interest in healthcare technology, patient-centric design, and improving NHS primary care workflows.Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal skills to articulate complex AI and voice-agent concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.You'll have the opportunity to work with a talented team, collaborate on exciting projects, and contribute to the development of innovative AI solutions that transform the healthcare landscape.
