Role Description

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in Oracle project management to join our team. In this role, you will be employed by Exonect Private Limited but permanently deputed to Thermax Limited in Pune. You will lead the implementation of Oracle solutions, managing project lifecycles and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery.


Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Lead the full project lifecycle of Oracle implementations, including scoping, planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
  • User Management: Serve as the liaison between end-users and project teams. Gather business requirements and ensure that Oracle solutions are aligned with user needs. Ensure client satisfaction through effective communication and high-quality deliverables.
  • Technical Oversight: Collaborate with technical teams to manage project requirements, design workflows, and oversee process automation and system integration efforts using Oracle technologies. Address and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular project updates to senior management and key stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication regarding project progress, risks, and outcomes.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies. Resolve project issues in a timely manner to avoid project delays or disruptions.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate project teams to meet objectives and deadlines. Foster a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
  • Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure all project activities adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. Implement best practices in project management, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies based on project needs.


Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Experience: 7-8+ years of experience in IT project management, with at least 5-7 years focused on Oracle solutions and finance modules. Proven track record of successfully delivering Oracle implementations.
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with Oracle technologies, including solution design, development, and customization. Knowledge of related technologies such as web services, APIs, SQL databases, and system integration techniques.
  • Project Management Skills: Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to manage teams effectively under pressure and deliver results within tight deadlines.


Preferred Certifications

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
  • Oracle certifications related to project management or finance modules.
