Role Overview:


We are seeking a highly motivated Search Product Manager to lead the development and optimization of search features on our app store. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working on large-scale consumer-facing products like Mobile App Stores, E-Commerce, OTT platforms etc. with a deep understanding of search systems, data science products, and user behavior.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end search product lifecycle, from ideation to execution and post-launch optimization.
  • Develop strategies to enhance search relevancy, performance, and user experience across Indus Appstore.
  • Collaborate with engineering, data science, design, and marketing teams to build and optimize search functionalities.
  • Analyze search data and user behavior to continuously improve the search algorithm and product features.
  • Drive key product decisions informed by data and insights to ensure high-quality search experience and alignment with business goals.
  • Define and monitor KPIs to assess product success and drive iterative improvements.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in search technologies, AI, and machine learning.


Qualifications and Experience:


  • 3-5 years of experience as a Product Manager, with prior experience in search systems or data science-driven products.
  • Proven experience working in large-scale consumer brands in B2C e-commerce or OTT industries.
  • Strong background in developing search-heavy products and optimizing search algorithms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) from a Tier 1 institution.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams and drive product roadmaps with engineering, data science, and UX teams.
  • Strong analytical mindset, leveraging data to make informed product decisions.
  • Passion for improving user experience and delivering customer-centric solutions.


Preferred Skills:


  • Hands-on experience with machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), and AI in search systems.
  • Experience with A/B testing, metrics, and optimization in search functionalities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
