About the Role:
Oben Electric is looking for a passionate and driven Area Sales Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Channel sales, Dealer Network Expansion, and Market Development in the two-wheeler industry. This role is critical in driving sales growth, scouting new dealers, and ensuring high-performing dealership operations across the Ahmedabad region.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Growth
- Achieve regional sales targets in volume, profitability, and market share.
- Expand dealer network through market scouting and onboarding new dealers/outlets.
- Strengthen dealership sales processes to support sustainable business growth.
Dealer & Market Management
- Monitor and manage dealership operations to ensure profitability and compliance.
- Conduct regular infra audits to align with brand standards and operational efficiency.
- Track and improve dealer Google ratings, customer feedback, and satisfaction metrics.
Customer Engagement & Experience
- Organize and manage customer meets, promotional rides, and community engagement events.
- Build relationships with dealers, banks, and financial institutions to boost retail finance penetration.
Sales Team & Infrastructure Development
- Ensure dealers are equipped with a trained, skilled sales team.
- Maintain dealership infrastructure compliance with Corporate Identity Process (CIP) norms.
- Drive dealership performance in industry-standard satisfaction surveys.
Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain accurate and timely MIS for sales performance tracking.
- Adhere to company policies and ensure statutory compliance at all levels.
Requirements:
- Experience: 7–10 years in channel sales, preferably in the two-wheeler EV/automobile industry.
- Expertise in:
- Dealer network expansion and development
- Territory/channel sales and market growth
- Dealer profitability and retail finance strategy
- Market intelligence and customer experience programs
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to drive ground-level initiatives with a hands-on market approach.
