Job OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled professional in Munich, Germany to expand our team's expertise in applied AI.About the RoleA degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field is essential.Minimum 6 years of experience in designing and implementing server-based applications for enterprise environments as a senior developer or 3 years as a junior developer.Strong understanding of RDBMS databases like SQL, PostgreSQL, and query optimization.Experience in backend development with C++ (or Java) and familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio.Knowledge of the latest C++ development standards and good grasp of algorithms, STL containers, and data structures.Understanding of REST APIs, big data handling, server architecture (load balancing, multi-threading, logging, etc.), microservices, and scalable code.Familiarity with Solr, Lucene, Elastic Search engines.Experience with CI / CD pipelines, code versioning, testing & debugging tools.Knowledge of product development methodologies and modern software design principles.Responsibilities:Further development and maintenance of the C++ based software backend.Participation in the design phase and final testing.Mentoring and development of junior colleagues.Implementation of logics and connections to external systems via diverse APIs.Continuous Optimization of the Software.Development of test and development tools for process support.Integrations with update and configuration management tools.
