Transition Program Manager is a strategic role responsible for designing, implementing and overseeing enterprise-wide transition initiatives across multiple Shared Service Centres and functional areas. This role combines program management excellence with change management expertise to ensure seamless organizational transitions that support critical business objectives.About the RoleIn this role as a Transition Program Manager you will:Design, develop and deploy comprehensive transition methodologies and frameworks aligned with organizational best practicesEstablish standardized transition processes, tools, templates and governance structures applicable across all Shared Service CentresDefine, scope, initiate and manage large-scale departmental transition programs from inception through closureLead cross-functional transition initiatives spanning multiple geographies and business unitsDevelop detailed program plans, including milestones, dependencies, resource allocation and critical path analysisManage program scope, schedule, budget and quality to ensure on-time, on-budget deliveryIdentify and mitigate program risks and issues through proactive risk management strategiesEnsure alignment of transition activities with broader organizational strategic objectivesPartner with functional change leads to consult on and co-design transition plans tailored to specific business needsManage stakeholder expectations and communications throughout the transition lifecycleCollaborate closely with L&D teams to develop comprehensive pre-process and process training documentationDefine training requirements, delivery approaches and execution plans for transition initiativesEnsure alignment between transition timelines and training readiness milestonesCoordinate the development of tailored pre-process training programs to ensure employee readinessAssess organizational readiness for transitions and develop mitigation strategies for gapsDesign and implement change management activities to support employee adoption and engagementCoordinate with HR teams on workforce planning, communication strategies and employee support mechanismsMonitor and address employee concerns and resistance throughout transition phasesEstablish comprehensive monitoring and reporting frameworks to track transition progressDevelop and maintain transition dashboards, scorecards and KPIsProvide weekly and monthly executive reporting on transition tollgates, milestones and progressPrepare and deliver presentations to global executive leadership on program status, risks and decisions requiredImplement governance mechanisms including steering committees and tollgate review processesEscalate issues and risks appropriately with recommended mitigation approachesAbout YouYou're a fit for the role of Transition Program Manager, if you have:10-12 years of progressive project/program management experienceMinimum 5 years managing large-scale, complex transition or transformation programsDemonstrated experience with Shared Services environments and multi-site implementationsProven track record managing programs with budgets exceeding $1M and teams of 10+ FTEsExperience working in matrixed, global organizations with cross-cultural teamsBackground in process improvement, change management or business transformation initiativesProject Management Professional (PMP) certification required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire.Transition or Change management certification (Prosci, CCMP or equivalent) preferred.#LI-NG1What's in it For You?Hybrid Work Model: We've adopted a flexible hybrid working environment (2-3 days a week in the office depending on the role) for our office-based roles while delivering a seamless experience that is digitally and physically connected.Flexibility & Work-Life Balance: Flex My Way is a set of supportive workplace policies designed to help manage personal and professional responsibilities, whether caring for family, giving back to the community, or finding time to refresh and reset.
