We are seeking a skilled and forward-thinking Site Reliability Engineer to join our Emerging Tech team. Company : Aqilea India Employment Type: Full Time Location: Bangalore(Hybrid) Experience:  10 years and All into SRE  About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer with strong expertise in building and optimizing data pipelines, managing large-scale datasets, and enabling data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in SQL, Python, and cloud-based data platforms, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure (cloud/on-prem).Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions, frameworks, and automations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and design stable, reliable solutions.Lead incident response efforts and participate in on-call rotations.Develop runbooks and troubleshoot critical issues.Implement CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions.Advocate for DevOps/SRE best practices within the engineering team.Optimize system performance through monitoring and alerting solutions.Conduct security assessments and ensure compliance with industry standards.Create and maintain documentation; mentor junior team members.Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Required Skills & ExperienceProficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python).Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies.Experience with incident and problem management.Strong knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (Microsoft Azure or GCP).Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions).Familiarity with observability tools (Splunk, Grafana).Experience with version control systems (Git).Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
