Android Developer – 5+ Years Experience Location: Chennai Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Android Developer with over 5 years of experience in building scalable, high-performance mobile applications. You will be responsible for designing and developing Android apps that deliver seamless user experiences and meet business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications using Kotlin and JavaCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new featuresWork with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and cloud messaging servicesOptimize app performance, memory usage, and battery consumptionEnsure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and CI/CD practicesTranslate UI/UX designs into responsive and adaptive interfacesMonitor app performance and resolve production issuesStay updated with the latest Android trends, tools, and technologies Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field5+ years of hands-on experience in Android developmentProficiency in Kotlin and JavaStrong knowledge of Android SDK, Jetpack components, and Material DesignExperience with Android Studio, Gradle, and version control (Git)Familiarity with MVVM architecture and dependency injection (e.g., Dagger/Hilt)Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelinesExperience with Firebase, Room DB, and Retrofit/OkHttpIf interested pls share the resume on Shraddha.shende@synechron.com
