You will set direction and long-term goals for the team, partner with product, business, and other stakeholders to achieve their objectives.The teams work on a spectrum of products and platforms that power our organization.You will be responsible for providing technical leadership, facilitating platformization of systems across the ecosystem, and evangelizing various ideas within the team.Key Responsibilities Include:Build, lead, develop, and provide hands-on leadership for top-notch engineers and leadsCreate clear career paths for team members to help them grow through regular and deep mentoring, attracting, and retaining top talent while keeping long-term goals in mindDrive strategy and vision across teams in a rapidly evolving environmentWork closely with diverse stakeholders and enable them by providing scalable and quality technology solutionsFacilitate platform solutions that span beyond the team and across the ecosystemTake accountability for moving key business metrics within your area and provide thought partnership to the product team, ensuring collaboration among product, engineering, and business operation teamsDrive agility in execution, create a strong team culture of responsiveness by leading by example, and own decision-making around prioritization for better predictabilityRequired Skills and QualificationsQualifications include B.Tech, M.tech or similar qualifications with at least 10+ years of experience in building cutting-edge products, along with 2+ years of people management experience.Essential Skills:Good understanding of technology and architecture in a highly scalable and available setupStrong experience handling large data (batch and real-time), workflows, and scheduling, building pluggable frameworks, and systems, strong abstraction, and design skillsProven track record of delivering high-quality products, familiarity with multiple software development practices, and toolsStrong partnership with product and business teams demonstrating effective collaboration and communication across multiple stakeholdersExposure to different design and architecture patterns as we build systems in SOA, exposure to batch processing, and near-real-time pipelines to transition data between multiple systems
