Data Practice Head

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and drive the transformation of the Data and Analytics practice, including transitioning from legacy business in BI-DW to an advanced and intelligent Data Lake.
  • Develop offerings, platforms, solutions, and capabilities to establish a unique and competitive position for the company in the market.
  • Focus on building solutions and capabilities using cutting-edge technologies.
  • Engage customers as a thought leader by assembling and leading a highly skilled team of Data and Analytics Architects, Analysts, Specialists, and Data Scientists.
  • Collaborate with other practices to promote Analytics-led transformation of offerings and service delivery methods.
  • Take charge of presales solutioning and sales enablement for the practice.
  • Cultivate and mentor a talented group of specialists within the practice as a people manager.
  • Establish connections with industry stakeholders and effectively manage analyst relationships.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience 10 years in a leadership role within Big Data or Cloud platforms related fields.
  • Specialize in building and scaling data engineering and analytics practices that drive business growth and innovation. Leveraging advanced technologies like Generative AI, AI/ML, Big Data, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS),
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering complex Big Data projects on time and within budget.


Additional Skills (Preferred):

  • Certification in Big Data technologies (e.g., Cloudera, Hortonworks, etc.).
  • Experience in cloud-based Big Data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI concepts.
