Ensure cloud environments follow best practices for security, operations, and networking.Design, implement and manage large-scale cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.Ensure cloud environments adhere to best practices for security, operations and networking.Automate deployment, configuration and resource management across GCP services.Data Engineering & ModelingDevelop and optimize data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes and DBT models.Evaluate performance, cost efficiency, data quality and reliability in all data transformations.Implement Python-based data ingestion pipelines.Platform Engineering ResponsibilitiesDevelop automation to improve platform reliability, scalability and operational efficiency.Maintain end-to-end monitoring, logging and alerting systems.Conduct root cause analysis, troubleshoot performance issues and ensure high availability.Support cloud operations and participate in on-call rotations when required.DevOps IntegrationImplement CI/CD processes for data pipelines and cloud workflows.Drive infrastructure-as-code and automation-first practices.Improve cloud deployment reliability and reduce manual operational tasks.Networking & SecurityCollaborate on secure, scalable networking solutions within the cloud environment.Apply best practices for identity, access, compliance and cloud governance.Required Skills & ExperienceStrong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Expertise in DBT, Python and SQL for data transformation, ingestion and analytics.Solid understanding of cloud networking, security and operational constraints.Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling and performance optimization.Background in DataOps, SRE, Platform Engineering or DevOps.Strong troubleshooting and incident resolution skills.Familiarity with monitoring, logging, alerting and observability tooling.Ability to work independently with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
