Compassionate Buddy (Independent Contract)
About the Role:
Antaha LLC seeks psychology professionals, ideally with a master’s degree or nearing completion, for our Compassionate Buddy freelance role. As a Compassionate Buddy, you’ll be deeply involved in facilitating one-on-one support sessions, organizing community events, and working with aspiring psychologists to create a supportive learning community. This role also involves collaborating with organizations in the US and UK, focusing on young adults, Gen Z, and culturally diverse groups. You will have the unique opportunity to lead both online and offline wellness experiences, including traveling globally to curate and guide meaningful events, contributing to Antaha’s mission of well-being and mental health support.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Deep Support: Facilitate one-on-one sessions to guide and support community members through challenges.
Mentorship & Community Building: Work closely with aspiring psychologists in India to develop a vibrant learning environment.
Curate and Lead Experiences: Organize and lead online and offline events, including global travel to facilitate group meditation sessions and community-building activities.
Resource Creation: Develop wellness materials and resources that promote awareness and understanding of mental health.
Strategic Partnerships: Connect with organizations in the UK and US to advance Antaha’s mission and expand community impact.
Ideal Candidate:
Educational Background: Master’s degree (or in final year) in Psychology or related field.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, train, and inspire; dedicated to long-term growth with Antaha.
Skills: Strong verbal and written communication in English; experience working with diverse age groups, cultures, and backgrounds.
Other Requirements: Reliable internet connection, quiet workspace, and willingness to travel as needed.
