Job Description:

We are seeking skilled and motivated UI Developers with strong expertise in Angular to join our Cognizant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing responsive, scalable, and user-friendly web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring high-quality UI standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement dynamic, responsive, and high-performance web applications using Angular (latest versions).
  • Translate wireframes, prototypes, and business requirements into functional user interfaces.
  • Optimize application performance for speed and scalability.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and business stakeholders to deliver seamless solutions.
  • Ensure application compatibility across different browsers and devices.
  • Follow coding best practices, perform code reviews, and maintain documentation.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3–7 years of experience as a UI Developer with strong focus on Angular.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience with Angular CLI, RxJS, and state management (NgRx or similar).
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs integration and asynchronous request handling.
  • Familiarity with responsive design frameworks (Bootstrap, Material Design, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in an Agile environment.

Good to Have:

  • Exposure to other front-end frameworks (React, Vue.js).
  • Basic knowledge of backend technologies (Java, .NET, Node.js).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
