While the AI engineers are building the brains, you'll architect the nervous system: the APIs, infrastructure, and backend intelligence that make it all production-grade.Design, build, and scale backend systems that power our AI orchestration engine – including API layers, state management, async job queues, task planners, and more.Collaborate with AI engineers to integrate LLM-based agents, RAG pipelines, vector stores, and multi-agent orchestration tools into a robust backend architecture.Key Responsibilities:Develop platform capabilities such as agent identity management and secure credentials.Agent task routing and lifecycle management (e.g. using Temporal).Modular plugin and tool-execution infrastructure.Own the API and service architecture used by front-end apps, third-party APIs, and clients.Optimize for performance, observability, and reliability – your work will run thousands of real-world agent workflows every day.Champion clean code, test automation, CI/CD, and documentation across the team.
