We are seeking exceptional Principal Investigators (PIs) to lead cutting-edge research in areas such as Computer Vision, Machine Learning, AI, and Computational Imaging. These roles are ideal for individuals with a strong academic background who also understand how to navigate the constraints and opportunities of applied, product-focused research.We're looking for translational thinkers—individuals who can bridge the gap between theoretical research and real-world applications, developing both publishable research and functional prototypes. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in their domain and be excited by the opportunity to work in a high-impact, cross-disciplinary environment.Required BackgroundPhD in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, AI, or Computational Imaging5+ years of post-PhD research or applied research experience (can include industry, academia, or research labs)5+ years of postdoctoral or industry research experience.Demonstrated ability to lead high impact applied research projects or labsDesirable TraitsStrong publication record in top-tier conferencesProven contributions to relevant ML projects in the spaceProven ability to bridge theory and practice, producing both prototypes and papersEntrepreneurial mindset, excited by innovation and product impactExperience mentoring PhD students, researchers, or junior engineersExcellent communication skills; able to articulate technical ideas to non-expertsSoft Skills & TraitsTranslation thinker: can turn vague or creative ideas into concrete technical plansHighly collaborative with a clear, structured communication styleInnovative and self-motivated, capable of owning research direction and execution
