Senior Construction Accounting Professional

Job Title: Senior Construction Accounting ProfessionalThis role requires a deep understanding of construction accounting principles, financial management, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have worked in construction accounting/contractor accounting, with knowledge of the % completion method of accounting and experience working on project profitability.Key Responsibilities:Oversight of all aspects of accounting operations, including production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and comprehensive set of controls and budgets.Preparation and analysis of monthly and quarterly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Coordination and facilitation of the construction draw process, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement of funds for construction activities.Management of yearly audit and tax compliance process, including ensuring all information is complete, accurate, and available for auditors and tax preparers.Establishment and maintenance of internal controls to safeguard assets.Required Skills and Qualifications:Deep understanding of construction accounting principles and practices.Experience in financial management and regulatory compliance.Knowledge of the % completion method of accounting.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Benefits:Opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing industry.Chance to develop and expand your professional skills and expertise.A competitive compensation package and benefits.
