BigPanda Engineer

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced BigPanda Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of both Windows and Linux operating systems, resilient architecture design, and virtual machine configuration and management. The role involves configuring the BigPanda platform, particularly focusing on SNMP, and requires proficiency in scripting and various monitoring tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate expertise in both Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Configure and manage virtual machines effectively to support various applications and services.
• Configure the BigPanda Daemon (SNMP) to send monitoring alerts from non-standard tools.
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of BigPanda platform for monitoring and alerting purposes.
• Configure Management Information Base (MIB) for efficient SNMP operations.
• Ensure effective monitoring and management of network devices using SNMP.
• Work with monitoring tools such as DataDog, SNMP, IBM Tivoli Monitoring (ITM), Netcool, and Client TEC (Tivoli Enterprise Console) Adapters.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Expertise in Automated Deployment
• Experience in dashboard managemet
• Proficiency in virtual machine configuration and management.
• Hands-on experience with BigPanda platform, especially with SNMP and MIB configurations.
• Advanced scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as DataDog, IBM Tivoli Monitoring (ITM), Netcool, and Client TEC (Tivoli Enterprise Console) Adapters.
