Role Overview

Own organic growth end-to-end: audit, strategy, implementation, and reporting. You’ll improve technical health, build topical authority, scale Local SEO for multi-location clinics, and partner with content, dev, and PPC teams to drive qualified leads.

What You’ll Do
  • Strategy & Audits: Build quarterly SEO roadmaps from comprehensive technical/content/local audits; prioritize by impact vs. effort.
  • Technical SEO: Core Web Vitals, crawlability/indexation, site architecture, internal linking, canonicals, redirects, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, log-file insights, schema markup, hreflang (UK/IN), CDN & caching recommendations, and SEO-safe migrations.
  • On-Page & Content: Keyword research & clustering, search intent mapping, briefs/outlines, metadata, headings, entity optimization, FAQ/How-To/Medical schema, E-E-A-T & YMYL compliance for healthcare content.
  • Local SEO: Google Business Profile setup/optimizations, citation/NAP hygiene, service-area pages, location pages, review strategy, UTM tracking for calls & directions.
  • Off-Page & Digital PR: Quality link acquisition via outreach/partnerships/guest publishing; anchor strategy; risk management (toxic link audits/disavow).
  • Analytics & Reporting: GA4, GSC, Looker Studio dashboards; define and report KPIs (organic leads, CVR, CTR, visibility, CWV pass rate); test & learn frameworks.
  • Collaboration: Work with developers (WordPress, Laravel, Shopify) to ship fixes; brief writers/designers; share insights with PPC for query mining and landing-page CRO.
  • Governance: Create SOPs, QA checklists, and documentation to scale SEO reliably.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
  • 3–5+ years hands-on SEO across technical, content, and local; agency or multi-site experience.
  • Strong command of GA4, GSC, Screaming Frog/Sitebulb, Ahrefs/SEMrush, PageSpeed Insights/Lighthouse, and schema tools.
  • Practical experience improving Core Web Vitals and solving indexation/canonical/duplicate content issues.
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS; ability to brief devs on WordPress/Laravel/Shopify fixes.
  • Proven wins in lead-gen SEO (preferably in healthcare/dental or other YMYL niches).
  • Excellent written communication; ability to create clear briefs and client-ready reports.
Nice to Have
  • International SEO (hreflang, en-GB/en-IN), log analysis, Cloudflare/CDN tuning.
  • Content editing skills; basic SQL/Python for analysis; BigQuery exports from GA4.
  • Digital PR experience and journalist outreach; experience with Looker Studio automation.
Success Metrics (What Good Looks Like)
  • QoQ growth in qualified organic leads and non-brand traffic.
  • % of priority keywords in Top 3/Top 10; improved CTR and SERP features coverage.
  • Core Web Vitals pass rate and overall site health improvements.
  • GBP impressions/calls/directions growth for local entities.
  • Clear, actionable monthly reports with next steps and forecasted impact.
