Sphera, a global leader in enterprise software and services, empowers companies to manage and optimize environmental, health, safety, and sustainability.Our mission is to create a safer, more sustainable world by fostering strong partnerships, innovation, and exceptional performance with uncompromising integrity.We are guided by our core values of Customer Centricity, Accountability, Bias to Action, Innovation, and Collaboration, which help us recruit talented individuals to join our rapidly expanding team worldwide.As a key member of our team, you will work closely with development teams, product managers, and third-party groups to ensure Sphera products are secure and reliable.This role reports directly to the Director of Information Security and supports cloud and on-prem applications to ensure holistic vulnerability management.Responsibilities:Participate in application security reviews and threat modeling, including code review and dynamic testing.Own and perform application security vulnerability management.Facilitate preparation of security releases.Support product and development teams in application security.Assist in creating security training programs.Develop automated security testing to validate secure coding practices.Support dynamic and static vulnerability scanning tools.Requirements:Familiarity with common security libraries, controls, and flaws.Basic development or scripting experience and skills.Experience with OWASP, static/dynamic analysis, and common security tools.A basic understanding of network and web-related protocols.Excellent communication skills to articulate complex topics clearly.Experience identifying security issues through code review.Benefits:Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field.7-10 years of experience.Excellent analytical skills, project management, and adaptability.
