Business Analyst

Chennai, India - Hybrid role

6-Month Contract initially


We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our data support initiatives.

This role will focus on analysing data sources, creating data mappings and flow

diagrams, and supporting the implementation of our Master Reference Data

Management (MRDM) programme. The successful candidate will have a strong

understanding of data management principles, data quality, and will be able to provide

insights to stakeholders. A background in either MRDM or Data and AI Risk will be highly

beneficial.


Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse and document data sources, flows, and dependencies.

• Create data mappings and flow diagrams to visualise and streamline data

processes.

• Support the implementation and governance of the Master Reference Data

Management (MRDM) programme.

• Identify and address data quality issues to improve data accuracy.

• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and

governance.


Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong understanding of data management principles, practices, and

methodologies.

• Proficiency in creating data models, mappings, and flow diagrams.

• Experience with data sources, data warehousing, and data integration.

• Familiarity with data risk, protection, and information security principles.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience in the Data and AI domain.

• Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks.

• Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.


This role is based in India, and the successful candidate will work closely with

teams in the UK. The contract will run for 6 months from January, with the

potential for extension based on performance and business needs.
