About us:We are a leading global financial institution with offices in various locations. Our company is committed to providing exceptional services to our clients and stakeholders.The role exists within our development function which undertakes small developments on the Murex 3.1 platform based on requests from business stakeholders or technology teams.The candidate will need to liaise and communicate with business stakeholders as well as technology teams that interface the application.Key Responsibilities:Provide technical expertise on all areas of the Murex platform utilized by the organizationLiaise directly with business stakeholders to gather and validate requirementsManage all stages of development from requirements gathering through to deliveryAct as second line support to the Murex Support teams to provide SME technical experience and guidance where necessaryProactively seek to improve and enhance existing processes and alignment to best practice on the Murex platformRequirements:Expert understanding of Murex v3.1, with more than 5 years' experience focusing on;All aspects of datamart reporting including dynamic tables, simulations & data dictionaryDeep understanding of the relational database model employed by MurexSME expertise in pre-trade and post trade MXML workflowsUnderstanding of market data sheets, curve construction and curve assignmentsProduct knowledge - Fixed Income, Equities and Derivatives is preferredProven track record of delivering to financial institutionsUnderstanding of 3rd party batch schedulers (Control-M or similar)Understanding of software development methodology (SDM)Appreciation of change management process and software release processes (version control)Personal Qualities:Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality.Proactive and accountable with a structured approach to work.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.Calm and composed under pressure.
