We’re now building a stronger presence on YouTube to educate and empower people about healthcare, medicines, and wellness—making medical knowledge engaging, reliable, and accessible.

Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative YouTube SEO Intern who can bring together creativity, analytics, and attention to detail. The role combines YouTube SEO expertise with content operations and quality control, ensuring every video is discoverable, optimised, and visually compelling.

Key Responsibilities

Video Content Management

  • Assist in uploading and managing video content with consistency and accuracy.
  • Support day-to-day YouTube channel operations including video scheduling, metadata optimization, and ensuring brand consistency.
  • Review video scripts, thumbnails, and edits to catch creative errors and ensure professional quality.

Performance Analysis

  • Conduct keyword research and optimize titles, tags, descriptions, and thumbnails.
  • Monitor video performance through YouTube Analytics and SEO tools to improve CTR, watch time, and retention.
  • Benchmark against competitors to identify content opportunities and SEO gaps.
  • Actively suggest strategies to grow subscriber base and audience engagement.

Creative & Audience Engagement

  • Ensure creative assets (thumbnails, intros/outros, captions) are engaging and error-free.
  • Suggest improvements in storytelling, pacing, and presentation.
  • Support community engagement by monitoring comments and helping draft responses that foster positivity.

Industry Trends & Best Practices

  • Stay updated on the latest YouTube SEO trends, tools, and video marketing practices.
  • Suggest innovative formats and creative approaches to keep Truemeds’ channel fresh and impactful.
  • Propose healthcare-related content ideas that can resonate with viewers.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field.
  • Basic understanding of YouTube SEO, content marketing, and analytics.
  • Strong creative mindset with a sharp eye for detail in visuals, copy, and design.
  • Familiarity with tools like Google Trends, TubeBuddy, or VidIQ is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Up-to-date with latest trends in YouTube, social media, and digital storytelling.
