DescriptionThe Value You DeliverThis is a hands-on role where you need to engage in developing test automation solutions in latest technologies, lead the automation code reviews and coding standards for newer projects. You will work closely with Architects, Dev and Business stakeholders forming future QE blueprints of all our applications and mentoring the QE teams in adapting latest technologiesDesigning automation framework best suited for a set of applicationsTranslating business and systems requirements into technical requirements for automation and software toolsDesigning, developing, documenting, and maintaining automated tests and software toolsAdhering to software engineering principals in development of automation and softwareUnderstanding and applying test driven design concepts to test and debug automated solutions and software utilities developed by self and others.Delivering accurate and maintainable code for automation and software utilities.Collaborating with other technical resources to: Suggest improvements for processes, best practices, and standards.Design and develop automation and software tools.Understand requirements.Identify opportunities to improve maintainability of automation platform.The Expertise We're Looking For5+ years of relevant experience in a reputed IT organizationPrimary Skills (Must Have) - API Testing, Java, Rest Assured, Selenium, CucumberSecondary Skills (Good to Have) - Github, Jenkins Core, JIRATertiary Skills (Nice to Have) - Oracle Pl/SQLRole ExpectationsYou will apply proven leadership, analytical, problem-solving and quality assurance/testing skills to enhance and validate the quality of the software solutions You will be effectively communicating with stakeholders and providing up to date status of deliveryActively participate in product release cycle, daily stand up as well as helping team with tactical activities like code review, design optimization etc.Work closely with IT Product/Application teams in technology selection, evaluation, recommendation and configurationBuild and maintain effective relationships with product managers, WI architects and technical leads for individual productsEvaluate and recommend technology and automation frameworks for flexibility, long-term viability, and time to marketRegularly provides guidance, training and mentoring to enable other team members to meet/exceed expectationsYou will guide the team to build end to end & regression test strategyYou will bring in cloud testing expertise You will bring in hands-on experience of working on Agile projectsYou will spearhead the automation coverage for a given system including building a CI-CD pipeline to help achieve a frictionless digital experienceTechnical / Behavioral Skills that are Key to this roleExcellent Written and Verbal Communication and Presentation SkillsOrganizational skills including time, project and process managementInfluencing capabilitiesAbility to work effectively with both business customers and project team members Good interpersonal, relationship management and facilitation skillsSolid analytical, negotiation & building consensus abilitiesData analytics competencyLocation: Bangalore- EGL / ManyataShift timings: 11:00 am - 8:00 pm
