Suorya Export Import Enterprise is an export company specializing in artisanal handicrafts and home decor. We believe in building a work culture of collaborative autonomy. We are looking for a passionate designer to join our in-house design team


Job Overview:

As a Designer at our firm, you will be responsible for hand-sketching product ideas, using Adobe Suite or Procreate to make digital designs, and collaborating with artisans on sourcing and product sampling. You will work closely with artisans to develop Spring, Fall, and Holiday collections. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design unique and trend-driven collection in line with buyer’s mood boards 
  • Proficiently use software to create product sketches or CAD prototypes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative and compelling designs, whilst ensuring production feasibility 
  • Stay updated on industry trends and design tools to bring new ideas to the team
  • Assist in sourcing fabrics, materials, and trims to bring designs to life
  • Staging of products in the showroom


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of professional experience in design, preferably within the export or fashion industry
  • Strong visualization and sketching skills
  • Software - Adobe Suite, Procreate, Auto CAD
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and visual appeal
  • Strong communication skills to articulate design concepts and collaborate with team members
  • Quick and adaptive learner, approaching challenges with optimism
