Job Title: Fabrication Layout Technician (Marker) – Naval / Shipyard Projects

Location: Vasco, Goa. (GSL)

Company: Overseas Cooling Concern (OCC) – A woman-led engineering company specializing in Naval HVAC and Marine Fabrication projects.

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Layout Technician (Marker) to join our team for shipbuilding and naval projects. The role involves interpreting engineering drawings, marking layouts on plates, ducts, and pipes, and ensuring fabrication accuracy for HVAC and mechanical systems onboard naval vessels.

• Interpret shipyard / naval engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Mark and prepare layouts on metal sheets, ducts, and pipes for fabrication.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy as per tolerances and standards.
• Coordinate with welders, fitters, and supervisors for fabrication activities.
• Check materials, identify discrepancies, and report to supervisors.
• Follow shipyard HSE and quality protocols during marking and fabrication.
• Support naval HVAC ducting and piping projects with precision marking.

• ITI / Diploma / Skilled trade background in Mechanical / Fabrication.
• Hands-on experience in marking and layout in shipyards / heavy fabrication units.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and shipbuilding drawings.
• Familiarity with welding, cutting, and fitting processes.
• Basic knowledge of QA/QC and safety practices in shipyard environments.
• Teamwork, attention to detail, and reliability.

• Experience in naval shipyards / defence ship refit projects.
• Knowledge of ducting, piping, or structural fabrication.
• Candidates from GSL (Goa Shipyard Limited) contractors, defence yards, or shipbuilding backgrounds are highly preferred.
