Head of India Operations

We are pyxer, an early-stage visual gen AI startup in the photography and apparel B2C space. We are building an AI fashion photographer and stylist that helps people discover and shop their perfect looks.

We are seeking an exceptional Head of India Operations who is creative, driven, and can get things done. As a business leader, you will manage the day-to-day operations of a small team based in Hyderabad.


You will have the unique opportunity to have your fingerprints on the next transformational consumer tech company, creating and marketing products that have the potential to be used by every person on the planet. Our product is already being actively used in 80+ countries. 


This role is ideal for you if:


  • You are passionate about our mission and are excited about working at an early stage startup.
  • You prefer collaborating in-person with a team, rather than remotely. This role will take place entirely in-person for 5 days per week at our office in the Hyderabad (HITEC City) area.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage our India operations
  • Day-to-day operations of a small product development team.
  • Partner with the engineering leader to set the product goals and achieve them
  • Plan and implement marketing strategies for Pyxer’s product 
  • Directly manage the small marketing team
  • Reach out and develop partnerships with apparel manufacturers


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in managing an independent business end-to-end.
  • MBA with a practitioner’s mindset.
  • Not afraid to experiment with new and innovative ideas.
  • Leadership experience in either technology or consumer companies.
  • Calm and composed attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • Good understanding of global consumers and their behavioral patterns.


Compensation:

  • Salary based on experience.
  • ESOPs in the US entity for proven candidates.
