API Management Expert SoughtWe are looking for a seasoned professional to design, implement and manage our Enterprise AI API platform.Design and build APIs: Utilize IBM API Connect, DataPower gateways or equivalent platforms to craft efficient APIs.Define Governance Policies: Set up authentication/authorization (OAuth2, API-key, JWT), rate limits, quotas, versioning and lifecycle management to ensure seamless API operations.Manage the API Gateway: Implement routing, transformation, orchestration, protocol mediation (REST, SOAP, GraphQL) and traffic control to optimize API performance.Configure Developer Portal: Publish APIs, onboard internal/external consumers, document API usage and enable self-service subscription through an intuitive portal.Monitor API Performance: Analyze usage patterns, error metrics, latency and performance to identify areas for improvement.Ensure API Security and Resilience: Safeguard back-end integrations, validate payload, mitigate threats and maintain high availability to prevent downtime.Familiarity with AWS cloud services such as API Gateway, S3 and EKS is highly desirable.Stay current with evolving API management best practices, emerging protocols and tools like GraphQL, WebSockets and IBM capabilities.About the Role: This position requires a deep understanding of API design, development, deployment and management.
