We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to support a critical migration initiative from Teradata to BigQuery. As part of our team, you will collaborate closely with data and reporting specialists to ensure a seamless transition.Key Responsibilities:Support the migration of reporting data sources from Teradata to Cerebro (BigQuery).Repoint and validate existing Power BI reports to new BigQuery data models.Design and develop new tables, views, and queries in BigQuery to support migrated reports.Conduct quality assurance validation to ensure data accuracy and performance parity post-migration.Collaborate with the Business Intelligence and infrastructure teams to optimize data pipelines and ensure smooth integration.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to query performance, permissions, or connectivity.Requirements:Mid to senior level experience (5–10 years) in data engineering and big data analytics.Expertise in GCP – BigQuery, Cloud Storage, SQL, and Power BI report connectivity.Strong understanding of database systems, data modeling, and ETL processes.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with fluency in English.Flexibility to work standard hours with EST overlap.Experience working remotely is essential.Benefits:A competitive salary package based on experience.The opportunity to work on a challenging project that drives business growth.A dynamic and supportive team environment.
