Job Description:We are seeking a seasoned Backend Developer to join our team and take on the responsibility of designing, developing, and maintaining our cloud-native SaaS application. If you have a passion for backend development and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.Specific Job Responsibilities:Develop and maintain server-side application logic using PHPDesign, implement, and optimize MariaDB database schemas, queries, and stored proceduresBuild and maintain RESTful APIs to support frontend Angular applications and third-party integrationsImplement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms including MFA, SSO via SAML, and role-based access controlsWork with Docker containerized environments and maintain application deployment processesOptimize application performance, database queries, and server-side logic for scalabilityImplement security best practices including SQL injection prevention, data encryption, and OWASP complianceCollaborate with frontend developers to integrate Angular components with backend servicesMaintain and enhance existing PHP codebase while following modern PHP frameworks and best practicesImplement error monitoring, logging, and observability using tools like Sentry and CloudWatchParticipate in code reviews to ensure code quality and best practicesMaintain adherence to security standards including HIPAA, NIST CSF, and CIS benchmarksParticipate in Agile sprints with a 10-week release cycle
