of produced code is the must-have attributes for this job.

The Assessments team is involved in creating discerning question banks. The team

also works on regular development of engaging and insightful assessment tools that

test the level of content understanding and competence in the subject skills of k-12

children.

As an English Learning Experience Designer, you’ll shape how children experience and

understand English. From designing rich, story-led learning experiences to collaborating

with creative and tech teams, reviewing content quality, and testing ideas in real

classrooms — you’ll lead the full journey of turning concepts into joyful, meaningful

learning.

What You’ll Be Doing

Design Learning Experiences

● Turn concepts into engaging, hands-on stories, games, and activities that spark

curiosity and promote deep understanding.

● Develop storyboards and content flows that blend strong English pedagogy with

creative storytelling.

● Use instructional design principles to craft engaging and effective learning

materials.

● Work closely with designers and developers to integrate storyboards smoothly

into the learning experience.

● Ensure all content is aligned to curriculum goals, age-appropriate, and rooted in

how children learn — especially in diverse classroom settings.

● Support content review by performing peer reviews and providing constructive

feedback to help the team learn and improve.

● Collaborate with senior learning experience designers and reviewers to maintain

accuracy, clarity, and learning depth across storybooks, games, and lessons.

● Uphold high content standards across all formats, ensuring every experience is

effective, inclusive, and joyful.

Collaborate to Build It

● Work closely with illustrators, animators, and developers to turn storyboards into

playful, interactive digital experiences.

● Translate ideas and scripts into clear, creative briefs and interaction flows.

● Align visuals and interactivity with learning goals and classroom realities.

Learn from the Learner

● Conduct user research and feedback sessions with children, teachers, and

facilitators.

● Use real classroom insights to improve design — from pacing and language to

interactions and flow.

● Keep asking: “Will this help a child understand and enjoy English?”

Innovation and Experimentation:

● Keep yourself updated on new trends and tools in education and learning design.

● Look for ways to bring fresh and creative learning ideas into our work.

● Try out new approaches, collect feedback from users, and use it to make learning

better.

Who We’re Looking For

You don’t need to be a traditional textbook writer or a tech expert. We're looking for

someone who:

● Loves teaching and wants to reimagine how children experience English

● Enjoys storytelling, playful design, or building hands-on learning experiences

● Believes learning should be meaningful, accessible, and fun — for every child

● Is curious, creative, collaborative, and committed to impact

Good to Have (but not mandatory):

● Master’s in English, Maths, Education, or a related field

● Experience working in EdTech, classrooms, or curriculum design

● Familiarity with tools like Figma, Articulate, or Adobe Suite
