Accountant RoleA financially astute and detail-oriented individual with expertise in managing financial records, payroll, and tax compliance is sought for this Accountant position.Key ResponsibilitiesGST Filing and Compliance:Ensure timely submission of GST returns while adhering to prescribed deadlines and maintaining accurate records of invoices, receipts, and related documents.Review and verify GST-related documents to guarantee accuracy and adherence to compliance standards.Stay informed about changes in GST regulations and communicate implications to relevant stakeholders.Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve GST-related queries or issues promptly.Employee Payroll Management:Oversee the entire payroll process, including salary calculations, deductions, reimbursements, and tax withholding, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.Maintain and update employee payroll records, adhering to confidentiality and accuracy standards.Handle payroll tax deductions and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Address employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.Bookkeeping and Financial Records:Accurately record financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.Maintain general ledger entries, ensuring that all financial activities are appropriately documented.Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial accounts regularly.Generate financial reports and statements, providing insights to management on financial performance.Financial Analysis and Reporting:Assist in analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.Collaborate with the finance team to prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.Support the preparation of financial statements and reports required for audits and statutory compliance.Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:Ensure compliance with all relevant Indian accounting and tax regulations.Keep abreast of changes in tax laws, accounting standards, and financial reporting requirements.Assist with external audits and provide necessary documentation and information as required.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and insights for decision-making.Work closely with the finance team to streamline processes and improve overall financial efficiency.
