Medical Office Calling SpecialistA professional and reliable Medical Office Calling Specialist is sought after to provide exceptional support to a US-based medical practice.Key Responsibilities:Manage patient calls with professionalism, empathy, and a patient-centric approach.Evaluate caller needs and respond appropriately based on established clinic guidelines and protocols.Escalate urgent issues to the on-call provider and ensure timely follow-up when required.Coordinate appointment scheduling, cancellations, and rescheduling based on clinic preferences.Accurately document all patient interactions within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.Review and update patient charts as needed to support care coordination and communication among healthcare providers.Assist with medication refill requests, message forwarding, and administrative tasks as assigned.Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and clinic policies at all times.Effectively communicate with providers and clinic staff to ensure seamless operations and efficient care delivery.Identify recurring issues and communicate trends to leadership for process improvement and quality enhancement.Requirements:Proven experience in front desk operations and medical office calling.Strong judgment and decision-making skills to navigate patient concerns effectively.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, providers, and clinic staff.Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and ability to learn new software quickly.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
