Business Intelligence Manager Job DescriptionJob SummaryThe Senior Business Intelligence Manager will play a pivotal role in developing and executing the business intelligence strategy, leveraging data to drive informed decision-making and ensuring data integrity and accuracy. This role requires expertise in business intelligence tools, data visualization, and strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights.Lead Strategy Development: Develop and execute the organization's business intelligence strategy aligning it with business goals and objectives.Oversee Data Analysis: Oversee data analysis activities including data mining, trend analysis, and predictive modeling to extract actionable insights and support decision-making.Create Reports and Dashboards: Create and manage comprehensive reports dashboards and data visualizations providing stakeholders with timely relevant and accurate information.Establish Governance: Establish and maintain data governance policies procedures and standards to ensure data quality consistency and compliance with regulatory requirements.Manage BI Team: Manage a team of business intelligence professionals including data analysts and data engineers providing guidance mentoring and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Manage Data Mapping: Manage data mapping data reconciliation and data conversion.Budget Management: Prepare department budget and monitor expenditure of budgeted funds.System Development: Recommend and develop plans for systems development and operations hardware and software purchases budget and staffing.Information Systems: Manage the development implementation installation and operation of information and functional systems for the organization.Network and Database Administration: Create and maintain the network and databases for the company ensuring stable operation by consistently scheduling and implementing updates and functionality tests identifying and resolving any issues that are identified during the testing process.Performance Reporting: Schedule and produce periodic reports regarding MIS performance.Equipment Maintenance: Review reports of computer and peripheral equipment production malfunction and maintenance to determine costs and impact address problems.Disaster Recovery: Develop maintain and test disaster recovery plans.Required Skills and QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Business Computer Science Data Science or a related field Master's degree preferred.Experience: 10-15 years' experience in MIS with data leadership driving business value through data analytics in Fintech Industry.BI Tools: Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau Amazon Quicksight Power BI or similar platforms with the ability to design and implement complex data visualizations.Data Analysis: Strong data analysis skills including data mining SQL and data modeling experience with ETL processes is a plus.Leadership and Communication: Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams present findings to executives and drive a data-driven culture within the organization.Knowledge of Data Governance: Knowledge of data governance best practices data quality management and compliance with data privacy regulations.Hands-on Experience: Hands-on experience on Ms Applications particularly Visual basic Macro Ms Advance Excel Ms Access and Ms PowerPoint SQL Business Intelligence toolsets.BenefitsThis role offers a unique opportunity to lead the development and execution of the business intelligence strategy and drive informed decision-making through data analysis.OthersAs a Senior Business Intelligence Manager you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals and contribute to the success of the organization.
