Syntasa is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Platform Engineer to join its India subsidiary. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of a world-class development and support center.We are looking for a talented individual with experience in designing and developing scalable data pipelines and platform services using Python, Apache Spark, and Databricks.The successful candidate will develop and manage notebook-based workflows (Jupyter, Databricks, etc.) for data processing, analysis, and automation.This role involves building and optimizing data integration workflows and reusable components for ingestion, transformation, and orchestration.You will deploy and manage workloads on Kubernetes, ensuring scalability and reliability.This Platform Engineer will implement and maintain cloud-native solutions on AWS, GCP, or Azure.Collaboration with data science, application, and platform teams is crucial to deliver efficient and robust data services.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and Develop Scalable Data PipelinesDevelop and Manage Notebook-Based WorkflowsBuild and Optimize Data Integration WorkflowsDeploy and Manage Workloads on KubernetesImplement and Maintain Cloud-Native SolutionsRequirementsA Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.4+ years of progressive experience as a Software Engineer, Data Engineer, or Platform Engineer.Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, distributed engineering environment.Skills & ExperienceStrong experience in Python for data engineering, scripting, and automation.Solid understanding of Apache Spark and distributed data processing.Experience working with notebooks (Jupyter, Zeppelin, or Databricks).Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration, workload deployments, and scaling.
