Position Summary:

The Business Development Head will lead the growth strategy for our packaging solutions, focusing on expanding market presence, identifying new business opportunities, and strengthening relationships with key stakeholders. This role will require strategic vision, industry insights, and hands-on experience in business development, preferably within the packaging sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Analysis & Strategy Development:

Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential business opportunities.

Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to expand market reach and increase revenue.

Client Relationship Management:

Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.

Develop client engagement plans to understand customer needs and provide tailored packaging solutions.

New Business Development:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and industry events.

Drive end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.

Strategic Partnerships & Alliances:

Collaborate with partners and industry stakeholders to enhance service offerings and improve market positioning.

Develop partnerships that support the growth and innovation of our packaging solutions.

Team Leadership & Development:

Lead and mentor the business development team, setting clear goals and fostering a high-performance culture.

Provide training and guidance to team members to enhance skills and performance.

Revenue & Profitability Management:

Develop and monitor sales targets, budgets, and forecasts.

Drive efforts to achieve sales targets and maintain profitability across key accounts.

Reporting & Performance Metrics:

Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business growth, client retention, and revenue targets.

Prepare and present regular business development reports to senior management.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 10+ years of experience in business development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the packaging industry.

Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
