About the Client


Our client is a leading manufacturer of stainless-steel process equipment for the food, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries. Role Objectives


The COO will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the fabrication division, ensuring the timely and quality production of equipment. The ideal candidate will drive operational efficiency, cost control, and high-quality output while nurturing a culture of continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities (KRA)


  • Lead the operations of the fabrication division, ensuring optimal production quality and efficiency.
  • Manage end-to-end production processes, from material procurement to delivery, ensuring timely execution.
  • Implement and maintain cost control measures and oversee P&L responsibilities.
  • Drive continuous process improvements to enhance productivity and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Ensure safety and compliance with relevant industry regulations.
  • Foster a strong team culture based on discipline, consistency, and performance.


Key Performance Indicators (KPI)

  • Production Efficiency : Maintain production timelines with minimal delays and defects.
  • Cost Control : Meet and exceed cost-saving targets while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Team Management : Build a disciplined and high-performing team, demonstrated by improved KPIs and reduced turnover.
  • Vendor Relationships : Effective vendor management, measured by timely deliveries and cost-effective procurement.
  • Operational Improvements : Successfully implement at least two process improvements every quarter.


Desired Candidate Profile

  • Age : Maximum 40 years old.
  • Qualifications : Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. An MBA in Operations or a similar specialization is a plus.
  • Experience : Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations, preferably in stainless steel fabrication or process equipment manufacturing .
  • Industry : Experience in food, pharmaceutical, or chemical equipment manufacturing is strongly preferred.
  • Skills :
  • Strong multitasking and leadership abilities.
  • Excellent technical understanding of process equipment manufacturing.
  • Ability to get hands-on and work across different levels of the organization.
  • A proactive problem solver who can navigate complex operational challenges.
