Job Title: Expert Payroll ConsultantFully Remote Full-Time Opportunity for a Senior Techno-Functional Professional.We are seeking an accomplished Expert Payroll Consultant to join our team in a fully remote, full-time capacity. As a seasoned technologist with functional expertise, you will be instrumental in leading the implementation and configuration of payroll solutions across the US and Canada regions.About the Role:This is a key position that demands a unique blend of technical and functional skills. You will be responsible for managing payroll elements set-ups/configurations, leveraging your in-depth knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud modules and payroll processes.Key Responsibilities:70% Functional, 30% Technical Expertise: Demonstrate strong understanding of payroll process/element setup for both US and Canada regions.Payroll Elements Set-Up/Configurations: Implement payroll solutions for various localizations within the US and Canada, ensuring seamless integration and optimal functionality.US and Canada Year-End Knowledge: Provide expert guidance on year-end processing (t4/rl1/w4) and ensure timely completion of all necessary tasks.North America Taxation Experience: Showcase proficiency in taxation laws and regulations applicable to both countries, facilitating compliance and minimizing risk.Formulas Development: Write efficient payroll formulas for various elements, enhancing data accuracy and reducing errors.BIP and OTBI Development: Develop business intelligence reports and dashboards using BIP and OTBI tools, empowering informed decision-making.SDLC and JIRA Knowledge: Apply agile development methodologies and leverage JIRA for project management, issue tracking, and quality assurance.HDL Experience: Utilize HDL capabilities to enhance reporting and analytics, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.Payroll Balance Initializations/Balance Adjustments: Conduct thorough balance checks and perform adjustments as needed to maintain financial accuracy.Additional Responsibilities:Prepare detailed functional specifications based on gathered requirements from the business.Develop and implement regression testing strategies to ensure RICE components' integrity.Analyze configurational changes impacts on payroll fast formulas and propose optimized solutions.Participate in stakeholder meetings to resolve priority issues and address concerns.Maintain data integrity and governance through large/complex data imports and extracts, validating accuracy via reporting and queries.Support integrations/file transfers, ensuring seamless connectivity between applications.Collaborate on implementing new software application products or new modules within existing applications.Provide experienced support for integrations, reports, and large data imports/extractions, planning for and supporting migrations/releases/upgrades/patches.Requirements:Master's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Relevant Fields: Possess a master's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, or a relevant field.Oracle Fusion HCM Modules/Payroll Area Knowledge: Display extensive knowledge of Oracle fusion HCM modules and payroll area.Desired Skills:Strong Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.Positive Attitude & Continuous Learning: Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
