Job Role Overview:The Lead Retail Asset Audit role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity and sustainability of retail assets. This position entails strong risk management, effective controls, and robust governance to safeguard against potential threats.Key Qualifications:Chartered Accountant (Mandatory)Required Experience:Strong familiarity with regulatory requirements.Significant experience in developing, testing, and assessing internal controls.Strong analytical skills with knowledge and understanding of internal control and reporting processes.12 to 18 years of total work experience in internal audit and risk management of NBFC/HFC/Banking and reputed audit firms.Key Responsibilities:Undertake audits for retail asset products and perform audits for retail lending business as per the risk-based audit plan.Conduct independent assessments, identify associated risks and mitigants, perform financial analysis, and highlight gaps.Review and document pre- and post-disbursement conditions and monitoring practices and controls.Identify potential weaknesses in risk evaluation, monitoring, and related processes, and recommend corrective actions.Review adherence to internal processes and regulatory guidelines.Assess governance processes, risk management frameworks, and internal controls, and recommend improvements.
