Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Firmware Engineer to join our team. As a Firmware Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of motor drive firmware, optimization of performance, and improvement of reliability.About This Role:This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to develop their skills in industrial automation control systems, motor drives, and embedded software development.You will work closely with our team to design, develop, and test firmware for various applications, including cranes, fans, pumps, and textiles.Your expertise in C/C++, Matlab/Simulink, and Induction Motor control algorithms will be essential in driving the success of this role.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement motor drive firmware using C/C++ and other relevant programming languages.Optimize performance and improve reliability of existing motor drives through continuous testing and analysis.Develop and maintain industrial automation control systems for crane, fan, pump, and textile applications.Collaborate with the team to design and implement unit and integration tests for motor control systems.Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.3-6 years of experience in firmware development, industrial automation, and embedded software development.Expertise in C/C++, Matlab/Simulink, Induction Motor control algorithms, and ARM Cortex MCUs.Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.Desirable Skills:Experience with TI DSPs, Direct Torque Control algorithm for IM/PM/SynRM, and EtherCAT, Ethernet IP, ProfiNet, MODBUS TCP communication.Knowledge of V model design process and model-based system engineering.What We Offer:We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
