Job OverviewThis is a highly sought-after role for an experienced Senior Data Architect who will lead the design and delivery of data engineering solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud platforms, data lake architectures, ELT patterns, and experience integrating pharma datasets.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign end-to-end data platform architectures to meet business requirements.Build scalable solutions using best-practice patterns on leading cloud platforms.Create data models and integrate pharma datasets (EDC, CTMS, IRT, CRM, 3PL, claims, hub, dispense, etc.).Produce solution blueprints, architecture diagrams, and implementation roadmaps.Lead technical delivery across multiple engagements.Conduct design reviews and guide development teams to ensure solution quality.Ensure adherence to Data Governance, Security & Compliance.Oversee operational support activities and drive automation where possible.Contribute reusable assets, frameworks, and best practices to the practice.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.10+ years of experience in data engineering, architecture, or delivery leadership roles.At least 5 years of experience working in the Biotech/Pharma Industry supporting Clinical/Commercial business units.Hands-on experience with leading cloud platforms and services including AWS and Azure.Expertise in data lake/Lakehouse architectures and modern ELT patterns.Strong SQL, Python, Spark, and data modelling skills.
