You will set the direction and long-term vision for the team, partner with product, business, and other stakeholders to realize your goals.The teams work on a spectrum of products and platforms that power our operations. You will lead the way for the teams to evangelize various ideas, provide technical leadership, and facilitate platformization of systems across the ecosystem.You will also partner with product teams on key business metrics in their areas, lead the way for innovative solutions to complex and challenging domain problems, and drive agility in execution by leading by example.ResponsibilitiesBuild, lead, develop, and provide hands-on leadership for top-notch engineers and leadsCreate clear career paths for team members to help them grow with regular and deep mentoringAttract and retain top talent while keeping long-term goals in mindDrive strategy and vision across teams in a rapidly evolving environmentWork closely with diverse stakeholders and enable them by providing scalable and quality technology solutionsFacilitate platform solutions that span beyond the team and across the ecosystemTake accountability for moving key business metrics within your areaProvide thought partnership to the product team and ensure collaboration among product, engineering, and business operation teamsDrive agility in execution and create a strong team culture of responsiveness by leading by example and owning decision making around prioritization for better predictabilityRequirementsTo be successful in this role, you should have:B.Tech, M.Tech, or any other similar qualification with at least 10+ years of experience in building cutting-edge products and 2+ years in people managementGood understanding of technology and architecture in a highly scalable and available setupStrong experience handling large data (batch and real-time), workflows, and scheduling, building pluggable frameworks and systems, strong abstraction, and design skillsProven track record of delivering products with high quality, familiarity with multiple software development practices and toolsStrong partnership with product and business teams that demonstrates effective collaboration and communication across multiple stakeholdersExposure to different design & architecture patterns as we build systems in SOAExposure to batch processing & near real-time pipelines to transition data between multiple systems
