This mid-level position requires 4-6 years of work experience in a related field. The position is full-time and based at our headquarters in Bangalore. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in surgical instrumentation and intraoperative monitoring, alongside other essential nursing and aseptic skills.Qualifications and SkillsProven experience in surgical instrumentation (Mandatory skill) to ensure efficient handling and management of surgical tools during procedures.Expertise in intraoperative monitoring (Mandatory skill) to effectively assist and monitor patients during surgeries, ensuring optimal outcomes.An excellent grasp of aseptic technique to prevent infection and maintain a sterile environment within the operating theater.Proficiency in patient positioning for surgeries to ensure patient safety as well as surgical efficacy for different types of procedures.Ability to manage the sterile field consistently to maintain infection control standards and support surgical team requirements.Skillful in equipment sterilization techniques to prepare surgical instruments and equipment as per protocols.Comprehensive knowledge of various surgical procedures to effectively anticipate the needs of the surgical team.Familiarity with electronic health records for accurate documentation and management of patient data.Roles and ResponsibilitiesAssist surgeons during operative procedures by providing necessary instruments and supplies while maintaining a sterile environment.Ensure all surgical instruments are prepared, sterilized, and available for use before and during surgical procedures.Monitor patients' vital signs and assist the surgical team with intraoperative tasks to ensure patient safety and surgical efficiency.Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all procedures and patient interactions within the electronic health records system.Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OT staff to facilitate smooth surgical operations.Participate in pre-operative briefings to understand the surgical plan and coordinate necessary preparations.Advocate for patient safety and well-being at all times, following established protocols and best practices in surgical care.Continuously update and refresh knowledge on the latest surgical techniques, standards, and technology relevant to the role.
