Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles to ensure top performance, safety, and customer satisfaction. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality service.Key Responsibilities:Inspect and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, brake checks, tire rotations, and fluid top-ups.Conduct advanced repairs on engines, transmissions, HVAC systems, suspension, and other vehicle components.Use diagnostic tools and software to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions.Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and performance.Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and services performed.Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines and safety regulations.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers when necessary.Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in automotive repair is preferred.Certification from a recognized body (e.g., ASE, IMI, or equivalent) is a plus.Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures.Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Good physical condition and manual dexterity.Valid drivers license.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with [specific brands/models if applicable, e.g., Toyota, BMW, EVs].Knowledge of hybrid or electric vehicle systems.Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).What We Offer:Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.Health, dental, and vision insurance.Ongoing training and professional development.Opportunities for career advancement.Supportive team environment.
