We are seeking a seasoned Golang developer to fill a critical role on our team.Job Description:We require an experienced engineer to lead the development of our backend services using Golang. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and operating microservices architectures, as well as hands-on experience with Kubernetes orchestration and container management.Key Responsibilities:Design, Develop, and Maintain Backend Services: Create scalable and efficient backend services using Golang within a microservices architecture.Deploy, Manage, and Scale Containerized Applications: Utilize Kubernetes to ensure high availability and performance of containerized applications.Implement Monitoring and Alerting Solutions: Design and implement monitoring and alerting solutions using Prometheus and Grafana to maintain system health and troubleshoot issues proactively.Work with Document or Vector Databases: Collaborate with MongoDB and other document or vector databases to design efficient data storage and retrieval mechanisms.Collaborate with DevOps and Infrastructure Teams: Work with DevOps and infrastructure teams to optimize cloud resource utilization on AWS.Deliver High-Quality Code: Quickly ramp up on project requirements and deliver high-quality code within tight deadlines.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Related Field: Possess a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.6-8 Years of Professional Experience: Have at least 6-8 years of professional experience in backend development with a strong focus on Golang programming.Proven Experience in Microservices Architectures: Proven experience designing and operating microservices architectures.Kubernetes Orchestration Expertise: Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes orchestration and container management.MongoDB and Vector Database Familiarity: Solid experience working with document-oriented databases like MongoDB and familiarity with vector databases is advantageous.Cloud Platforms Knowledge: Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS, including services related to compute, storage, and networking.Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a distributed team environment.Rapid Onboarding Ability: Ability to start immediately and ramp up quickly, meeting aggressive project timelines.Tools and Technologies:GolangKubernetesMicroservices ArchitecturePrometheusGrafanaMongoDB and Vector DatabasesAWS (EC2, S3, EKS, RDS, etc.)
