We currently have 8 projects with around 4500 custom designed, furnished homes as well as commercial and institutional buildings, covering a total saleable area of approximately 14 million square feet under construction at Bangalore, Pune and Hyderabad.

Senior Design Manager ( HVAC )

Key Responsibilities:

· Knowledge of ASHRAE / ISHRAE and other standards required to design HVAC system for high rise residential, commercial and hospitality projects

· Solely responsible for HVAC design of the project.

· Calculate Heating and Cooling Needs

· Design HVAC Systems

· Propose new products, new technology, design improvements with feasibility study.

· Techno commercial evaluation of various options with your recommendation

· Propose Energy saving and environment friendly design and products

· Calculate Ventilation Requirements

· Determine Budgetary Costs- for heating and cooling systems and followed by detailed budget estimates.

· Coordinate and collaborate with architects and other discipline engineers when designing heating and cooling systems.

· Study and understand arch and structural drawings.

· Provide detailed input to Jr engineer / drafting Engineer for preparation of quality drawings.

· Monitoring the progress and quality of drawing in Revit and cad till the GFC stage.

· Prepare a list of requirements / discrepancy in arch / structural drawings and inform to arch within 2 working days after receipt of drawings.

· Concept design based on final arch drawings.

· Preparation of documents for sanction purpose as per codes and local norms.

· Attending design review meetings.

· Obtain signoff on concept design before proceeding to detail design.

· Preparation of Design Brief report.

· Detail design as per approved concept and scheme.

· Checking of drawings along with checklist.

· Submit drawings as per commitments.

· Prepare HVAC duct routes and Equipment layouts in Revit / BIM

· Detailing of duct routes, BOM preparation in Revit / BIM

· Preparation of all HVAC drawings using REVIT /BIM software

· Preparation of BOQ / estimate / technical specification / approved make along with takeoff sheets.

· Prepare tender drawings, specifications, BOM for floating tenders

· Technical evaluation of tenders and rating/recommendation of vendors

· Conduct quality checks and inspections at site during different stages of construction

· Obtain LEED /IGBC certification for the building

· Review of shop drawing and technical data sheet.

· Maintain documentation of all design materials and drawings.

· Handing over inspection as per requirements.

· Use specialized software to create design and drawings of products.

· Preparation of equipment manual / maintenance booklet for site team.

· Develop As-Built drawings with in-house team

Construction Administration

· Evaluate test reports and oversee construction of HVAC systems of all projects.

· Review equipment and material submittals.

· Assist and resolve HVAC issues during/after construction.

· Complete construction visits and address issues with regard to HVAC systems.

Compliance

· Comply with all relevant standards and procedures

· Ensure compliance with project timeline.

Communication & Collaboration

· Communicate and coordinate with teams and departments to aid in architectural and engineering design.

· Engage with other teams during the design and construction period.

Education/Experience

· Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years experience OR

Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 7+ years experience

· Working knowledge of Revit
